Davidson Top Ten!

Yesterday we had the privilege of attending the Scioto Country Club with Heather to celebrate her #2 class ranking. Each of the top ten students at Davidson and their families were invited. We were pretty excited to check out the exclusive club in UA as well as celebrate the afternoon with Heather.  The club reminded me of one of the golf club houses in Hilton Head with this old southern feeling. It was definitely a gorgeous spring view of the golf course. Thankfully the weather held out for pictures! Way to go Heather.  Fingers crossed we get to go back next year!











 

Almost spring!

I have fallen off the blog wagon and am about a month behind in posting but I guess that is what happens in the dead of winter when there isn't much going on! Laziness! I have recently upgraded to a new mac, photoshop and some photography classes so I am hoping the blogging pics up a little over the next few months.

Scott and I recently (back in Feb) took a quick trip to Tucson to celebrate my birthday and get some sun. The weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped but we did manage to get temperatures in the mid-60's, along with some hiking and quality Mexican food.

We stayed at La Paloma (a Westin) spa and between watching episodes of Homeland which we are officially addicted to; we lounged by the pool and fit in some massages at the spa. Its a great escape for a nice relaxing 4 day weekend.



 



 





 

Hopefully the weather here will improve soon! Just looking at the warm sunshine makes me wish for spring.

Ice Ice Baby

Its nice to know that the "Winter Formal" theme for Davidson this year is a nice throwback to the 90's. Heather's date David came over to our house for dinner (oh the days of not having a license) and then they were off to the dance. Scott and I tried our best not to eavesdrop, so hopefully Heather will invite him over again! Not to mention all parents failed on pinning the corsage and Heather ended up taking the reigns and fixing it.  Don't they look cute?



 

Even Lilly got to pose after promptly showing me her latest ballet moves. :)



 

Heather's dress turned out perfect. We ordered it online while we were is Paris and even had a backup just in case. But we thought the white fit the theme best.



 

I think Sadie Hawkins in next but I am not sure what they call it these days! :)
