We made it, half a year!
In the last 3 weeks we have gotten two teeth each, learned to roll, become fascinated with any object that can fit in our mouth, grab anything we can get our hands on, mastered the excersaucer and tried out swinging and swimming. They say they are called "wonder weeks" where the babies learn so much at one time. This is also accompanied by discovering their voices and a few hours of screaming, together...yes they also have discovered their are two of them. They have now learned that whatever toy they have, their sister's is better, you shouldn't bash your sister in the head with a rattle and oh yeah, if one screams, the other one should just go ahead and join in. Of course screaming can be replaced by giggles and contagious smiles which is pretty fun! The girls have also been venturing into new territory with food, this week trying fruits (which they seem to hate) and continuing with vegetables. So far green beans and carrots are the favorite. Peas and peaches seem to be the worst.

Savannah - aka "Wild One"
I can never seem to get them to sit still, thankfully we had some professional pictures taken last week for 6 months so I am excited to see how those turned out. One of the proofs is below...
We have also upgraded our stroller to the "big kid seats" which feature seats where the girls can look at each other and recline. Riding in Style...I especially like the sun covers (which are folder back in the picture) and their bright pink SPF 30 hats :) Sunglasses coming soon to complete the look.
We have also been doing a lot of yard work lately getting ready for spring and summer (well Scott has!), the trees are awesome to look at from our back deck.
I wish the trees would stay like this all season!
I think this week is going to be a rainy one but hopefully the weekend will be nice and sunny again! Happy Sunday!

So fun! It's sounds like everyone is doing well!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. Now they can see each other when they ride in the stroller.
